At Liiteguard, we are constantly trying to improve. In the development of the ULTRALIGHT sock, we have taken yet another step towards a more sustainable production of our products. The ULTRALIGHT sock is produced by using 44% recycled nylon, which is wasted fabric from other textile productions.

GENTLE LANDING DURING RUNS

ULTRALIGHT is our first sock designed without an anti-slip sole. Instead, we have created an extra cushioning along with the areas of the sole with the most surface contact while running. This aims to ensure an optimal and gentle landing during runs. The cushioning also helps reduce the risk of blisters.

COMPRESSION

ULTRALIGHT is designed with graduated compression, which provides a tight and comfortable fit while ensuring optimal blood circulation around the foot. The compression is tightest in the foot and decreases in the remaining part. This feature provides an optimal flow of blood back towards the heart, so you’ll be able to perform at your best.

ACHILLES TENDON COMPRESSION

ULTRALIGHT is developed with arch support and Achilles tendon compression: two areas that are exposed when running. The Achilles tendon is particularly exposed to constant vibrations during physical activity, which is why the additional compression has been added.

Studies show that increased compression directly on the Achilles tendon can reduce pain under and after your activity while preventing possible swelling.

MOISTURE-WICKING MATERIAL

The sock is developed in a moisture-wicking material - a material which, in addition to sublime comfort, transports sweat away from the skin faster compared to regular cotton. As a result, your foot is kept dry, and combined with the extra cushioning under the foot, it helps reduce the risk of blisters.
